Adalee | 9 Month Baby Photos

October 14, 2014 — 1 Comment

I have always said that six months is one of my favorite ages, but as Rachel grows, I’m loving months 8, 9, 10, and 11. Each stage seems to get more and more fun! Adalee’s 9-month session was no different. She is adorable, and is always dressed in the sweetest outfits! You’ll see her Bama roots coming out in the precious hounds-tooth dress! Check out a few of my personal favorites from our photo session at Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro.

I’m excited to offer Fall Mini Sessions this year… four dates at four three different locations. Each date has limited availability so book your session now!

Fall Mini Sessions

What is a mini session? A mini session is 15 to 20-minute session for you and your family at a beautiful time of year. This isn’t a full session, but we will work quickly to get family photos, group shots, individual shots of kids, and whatever else we can squeeze in! You’ll receive 5-10 edited images to download and use as you please. Mini sessions can also easily be gifted to a family member or friend!

How many people can be in my photos? The $95 fee covers up to five family members and/or pets. If you have additional family members, contact me for details before booking.

How do I know if a mini session is right for me? Mini sessions are perfect for those looking for a beautiful Christmas card photo or simply a couple of professional images to document your kids or family at this stage.

What if I don’t think 15 minutes will be enough time for my family? I have a limited number of family portrait sessions still available this fall. Feel free to contact me about scheduling one of these one-hour sessions if you don’t think a mini session is the right fit for your family. With a full session you’ll receive at least 30-40 edited digital images.

What do we do if it rains? Each Tennessee location (Leipers Fork and Nashville/Brentwood) has an alternate rain date. Birmingham sessions are refundable for inclimate weather.

Do I have to pay up front? Yes. You’ll reserve your spot by paying for the time slot you choose. When it’s time for your session, you just show up. No  ATM visits or check writing to remember!

How quickly will I receive my images? I work to deliver mini session images within two weeks of your session.

What should I wear? Jewel tones and earth tones tend to be the most flattering on people. I like to tell families I work with that it’s much better to coordinate than to match. Let’s not be cheesy and all wear the exact same color top and pants, but instead wear colors that compliment one another. Let your personality (and your kids’ personalities) shine. Wear something that’ll make you feel like a million bucks! You can always text me to get opinions on outfits as well. I’m here to help!

Can I bring a prop for my child or a favorite quilt/blanket? Absolutely! This is a quick session, so we may not be able to use all your props, but bring whatever you’d like.

I have more questions. No problem. Simply contact me with your questions!

UPDATE: October 18 and 19 are SOLD OUT, but we still have availability October 26 in NASHVILLE.

Not sure yet? Check out some of the highlights from last fall’s mini sessions!

Lauren and Codie are such an incredibly fun couple! I love watching them interact with one another and have fun together. I first met them at Erin & Bryan’s wedding last summer, where Lauren was a bridesmaid and Codie caught the garter! They will tie the knot this December, and Nic & I are so excited to document their Christmas wedding. For their engagement shoot, we went to downtown Murfreesboro and a park nearby. The weather turned out perfect. Codie was a collegiate golfer so you’ll see a couple of hints of his love for golf in this shoot. :) Lauren & Codie, can’t wait for your wedding!

I’m so excited to share a beautiful little one with you today, along with her adorable nursery. Baby Adalee was welcomed by her parents in November. Since the family did not do formal newborn photos, Kelly and Drew contacted me to do 3-month photos and capture some images of her beautiful grey and white nursery. For our photo shoot, Adalee wore several heirloom pieces including her grandmother’s dress and her mother’s wedding pearls. There’s something extra special about documenting the first year of a little one only a few days younger than Rachel. I’m excited to watch them grow alongside one another this first year! You’ll see I snuck in images of a few of my favorite Alabama details from Adalee’s nursery!

I’m excited to offer fall mini sessions this year, but they will be available on a very limited basis. Since we are expecting baby Teasley in November, sessions will be available only one weekend in October. This will give me time to get your photos to you before baby comes. Here are the details:

Once you reserve your spot, I’ll send you an exact location at Ellington along with parking instructions. What a beautiful wedding day Bryan and Erin had. June weather in Tennessee can be quite iffy. We prayed for months for no rain, and the Lord graciously provided a gorgeous, warm (but not too hot) day for this farm wedding. The couple tied the knot at Hogshead Farm in Christiana. This is a private family farm that we selfishly think would make a fabulous wedding venue! Erin’s friends and family did a lot of the preparations and work themselves, including her dad who cooked up the delicious barbecue served at the reception. It really was a joy to spend the day with this couple! Nic and I met Bryan working at CentriKid Camp, and we are excited to have gotten to know Erin as well through their engagement. We loved how laid back their whole day felt, and it was encouraging to see how much they desired for Christ to be the center of their day! Erin and Bryan, we are so excited to see where the Lord takes your marriage!

Sneak Peek: Erin and Bryan

OK… so I can’t contain my excitement anymore about this fun wedding! Erin and Bryan tied the knot back in June on the beautiful Hogshead Farm in Christiana, TN. The setting was quite picturesque, and we couldn’t have asked for a more fun and laid back bride and groom. I’ll be posting more of their beautiful day, but for now, here are a few of my (and their!) favorite snapshots.

I definitely teared up as I captured this next moment of Bryan holding back the tears while his bride came down the aisle. So sweet!

And this was one of my favorite ceremony moments… watching as their personal mentors prayed over the bride and groom before they gave their wedding vows. I loved seeing how evident it is that the Lord has used these special people to help prepare Bryan and Erin to be the husband and wife God has called them to be! Such an encouraging moment!

I can’t imagine a ring bearer enjoying his lemonade any more than this! :)

Three beautiful generations, representing marriage and family!

And these friends… are they not the cutest?!?! Cake on the face and in the mouth, having a blast at reception!

Thanks for visiting. Check back later this week for more of Erin and Bryan’s big day.

Nic and I had such a fun engagement shoot with these guys! We were able to use a beautiful piece of property that belongs to some friends of the couple. It was perfect, and the weather cooperated quite beautifully. When Erin told me she wanted to do a camping-inspired engagement session for a portion of their shoot, I was thrilled. They had the best props for our camping engagement shots, and of course Nic had a blast starting and maintaining the fire for s’mores. Erin and Bryan, we are so very excited for you guys and your future marriage. We can’t wait to see how God uses your marriage to bless many others.
