Whew! It has been a crazy few months at the Teasley home… and by crazy I mean “not-able-to-do-much-of-anything crazy tired” and still on the go! In case you haven’t heard, back in May we made our big announcement that we are expecting Baby Teasley in November! We are so excited, but that’s much of why I have fallen off the radar and majorly slacked in the area of blogging. In late April, we made a trip down to Santa Rosa Beach to stay at the beach house, get a little R&R (for me), and so that Nic could play in a golf tournament with Dad. While we were there, I really wanted to snap some pics for our pregnancy announcement since that’s the place where we got engaged in May 2009 and married in September 2009. It is a very special place for us!
Check out a few others from our mini photo shoot on the beach!
While I’ve slacked in the area of blogging, I’ve been busy shooting! I posted a couple of pics from the Styled Shoot with Vintage Florals, and I’ve had the privilege of shooting quite a few family and newborn sessions. We are gearing up for a fun outdoor June wedding this weekend, and I can’t wait to post those photos as well. Get ready to see lots of recent shoots on the blog in the days ahead!
I seemed to have skipped April and May in the area of goal-setting, where the goal has been to stay well, make it through each day, get sleep, and press forward! God is so good, and my first trimester was tough but not nearly as difficult as many horror stories I’ve heard from friends. I actually managed to plant and maintain my garden which was a miracle! It’s been great to have some energy back these past few weeks and get back to doing things I love! So, what are the goals for this month that is now almost halfway over? (It’s so hard to believe!) Here they are:
- Walk daily to maintain a healthy pregnancy
- Add vegetables to the garden and harvest our Spring veggies
- Shoot an outdoor wedding
- Finish reading Start by Jon Acuff
- Plan a summer California trip
- Catch up on blogging Spring sessions
- Plan meals weekly
- Set a solid financial plan with Nic to pay off the house in two more years!
